Extrodinary Meeting 5th August 2025
Minutes of an extraordinary meeting of Llansanffraid Glan Conwy Community Council held in Church House and remotely via Zoom on Tuesday 5th August 2025 at 7.30 pm.
Present: David Court (Chair), Sharon Doleman, Keith Edwards, Tracy Hughes, Phil March, (via Zoom) Gill Wilkinson (Vice-Chair)
91 Apologies: Ian Morris, Sylvia Hughes The meeting was declared quorate.
92 To receive any Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda
92.1 There were no Declarations of Interest made.
92.2 There were no Dispensation requests regarding prejudicial interests.
93. Exclusion of Press and Public It was resolved to exclude press and public for the discussion of Item 94 below, owing to the confidential and sensitive nature, this is in accordance with section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960
94. To review the recommendation of the Staffing Committee on the appointment of the new Clerk/RFO to the Council
94.1 Katherine Evans made a short presentation and received questions from the council
94.2 It was resolved to accept the recommendations of the Staffing Committee (circulated in advance of the meeting).
94.3 It was resolved to appoint Katherine Evans as the new Clerk/RFO and Proper Officer to the Council.
Standing orders were resumed.
